SHIPPING AND HANDLING

How will my order ship and when should I expect to receive it?
Orders placed Monday – Friday before 12:00pm EST will be processed the same day and shipped out within 24 hours. Please allow 5-7 days for standard shipping. Expedited shipping is available for an additional charge. All orders placed after 12:00pm EST or on Saturday and Sunday will be processed the following business day. ALL ORDERS ARE SHIPPED VIA USPS OR UPS GROUND unless otherwise noted. DELIVERY TIME DOES NOT INCLUDE SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS, OR HOLIDAYS. **Please note that during the HOLIDAY SEASON orders may take additional time.**

My package says delivered but I didn’t receive it.

Sometimes USPS tracking information can be incorrect, and packages are marked as delivered before they actually arrive – oops! Your package will most likely be delivered within a few days, but it’s great to check with your neighbors and/or post office for more information in the meantime!

If you do not receive your order in a couple days, please email our Customer Care team, within 14 days of the last tracking update, with your order number and tracking information so that we may assist you further! :)

When do Pre-order items ship?
The estimated shipping date for pre-order products can be found in your order confirmation email and invoice. This date is an estimate of when your order will be in stock and shipped to you.

Once your order arrives at our warehouse, our team will work to dispatch it as soon as possible. You’ll then receive a shipping email with tracking details.

My order has arrived but it’s wrong.

In the unlikely event you're missing an item, or have receive a wrong item/order, please contact us immediately with the following information and we'll sort it out right away.

  • Your order number.
  • The name of the item you didn't receive.
  • A photo and the name of the item you have received (if the wrong item)

Once we've received the above info, our Customer Support team will get this fixed for you asap!ALL CLAIMS FOR ORDERS ARRIVING WITH MISSING/WRONG ITEMS MUST BE MADE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE DELIVERY DATE.

How can I track my order?
You will receive an order confirmation once your order has been received. A shipping confirmation email will be sent when your order has shipped. This confirmation will include the tracking # and a link to www.usps.com where you may track the delivery status of your shipment.

Can I send items as gifts?
Absolutely. Gifts are wrapped, tied with a satin ribbon and include your personal gift message with envelope for $7.95 per order.

Can I cancel or edit my order?                                                                        We know you want your order fast so as soon as it is placed, we are on it! 

Regrettably, this means that we cannot cancel or make changes to your order including, but not limited to:

  • Canceling your order or specific items
  • Changing your billing or shipping address
  • Changing payment method
  • Changing shipping method
  • Changing color/size of items(s)
  • Addition or removal of item(s)
  • Changing or adding a discount code
  • Addition or removal of a gift card

For whatever reason if you would no longer wish to keep your order, you are able to return your order after it has been delivered.

Your satisfaction is our top priority. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase, and if for any reason you're not, we offer a 30-day return policy. Simply return the item(s) within the first 30 days, and we'll gladly provide a refund. Please note that it may take 5-7 business days to process returns once we receive the item(s) back. Kindly note that shipping fees are non-refundable. People often wonder which came first, the books or the dolls, and honestly, we can't quite recall. The book series lays the foundation for the Double Dutch Dolls' story, introducing Kaila, Zaria, Alainna, Sascha, Trinity, and Kadence who come from African American, Hispanic, Bi-racial and multi-racial backgrounds. Through this captivating three-book series, these dynamic multicultural characters come to life as they navigate friendship, challenges, and the ups and downs of being tweens. Are Double Dutch Dolls good quality dolls?
Double Dutch Dolls are 18” all vinyl fashion dolls with pierced ears, a realistic child-like body and jointed limbs. They have extra joints in their elbows, knees and wrists so they can be posed in many natural-looking positions. They have wigged rather than rooted hair, which is superior. Wigged hair is either machine sewn onto a fabric wig cap or hand-knotted. The wig is then glued onto the doll’s head and the hair is cut and styled. This helps wigged hair better retain its hairstyle more easily than rooted hair. The dolls are beautiful and well made.

What is the right age for my child to play with a Double Dutch Doll?

Younger girls often appreciate dolls that resemble themselves, and the realistic look of our multicultural all-vinyl dolls is sure to captivate their imagination. It's worth noting that dressing all-vinyl dolls can be slightly more challenging compared to soft body dolls,but it's usually not an issue for girls of 5 or 6 who have developed the dexterity to handle smaller doll clothing. Our Double Dutch Dolls' clothing is thoughtfully designed with convenient Velcro closures and zippers, making it easier for children to manage on their own. However, younger children may still benefit from adult assistance with dressing.
